HY-TP2 – FREE Tremolo/Pan VST/AU Plugin By HY-Plugins

HY-Plugins has released HY-TP2, a freeware tremolo and auto-pan effect in VST and AU plugin formats for 32-bit and 64-bit digital audio workstations on PC and Mac. The plugin is proudly hosted exclusively on Bedroom Producers Blog.

HY-TP2 is an updated version of HY-Plugins’ older tremolo effect, now featuring an improved user interface and a slightly modified feature set. The new version comes with two additional LFO shapes while removing the envelope follower and soft clipper functionalities found in its predecessor. The LFO module now also features a phase shift knob for precise timing adjustments.

If you haven’t used the previous version of HY-TP2, here’s a quick look at its core features. Located on the left-hand side of the user interface is the Mod Wave section with the LFO waveform selection panel (sinewave, triangle, ramp up, ramp down, log up, log down, square, and random), a phase adjustment knob, and a smoothing knob which smooths out the shape of the selected waveform. The Tremolo/Panner section features the modulation rate, modulation depth, and modulation width knobs. The width knob affects the plugin’s behavior as a tremolo or a stereo auto-pan effect. The filter section features a pair of tone filters (low-shelf and high-shelf). Finally, the Output section features the output volume dial.

In addition to the main components listed above, HY-TP2 also includes a built-in preset manager for storing your settings for later use, along with a bypass switch, undo/redo buttons, a preset randomizer, and the reset switch. As expected from an HY-Plugins release, the GUI is fully resizable and will look perfect regardless of the screen size and resolution.

HY-TP2 is available for direct free download from Bedroom Producers Blog. In the downloaded archive, you’ll find both the auto-installer and the manual installation files. HY-TP2 will work great in tandem with the free HY-Lofi2 bitcrusher VST plugin which is available exclusively on Rekkerd.     Does not installed on Mac

    Installer run, and the Message Successfull Installed comes but the Plugin is not in the AU or VST Folders (i have searched in the default system folder and the user folder).

    The only what was installed are the HY-TP2 Presets.

    i have installed any other hy-plugins and the work / are present in the folders

    This is an extremely good plugin, and I think it just unseated Pecheneg as my favorite tremolo. I even managed to get a half-decent Leslie effect out of it. I’ve not tried HY before but this freebie has certainly caught my attention so I look forward to checking them out. Thanks 😃

    Be careful moving this plugin around in logic pro x. I dragged it one spot up on the same (empty)channel and it blew my ears out harder than ive ever experienced…ive have some spikes before but this was the most painful in memory. Im sure this company makes great products that many people enjoy but I already have ear/hearing issues and this just made me fearful of putting on my headphones…which i haven’t done in months…TLDR: mute yr output if yr moving it around or risk instant pain…my ears are still ringing and my hearing is super compressed right now. Sorry…just needed to vent

    Strange thing happened: Bitdefender moved HY-TP2.vst3 and HY-TP2.dll into quarantine. Gen.Variant.Symmi.81758 right after I unzipped the file HY-TP2.zip!

    Anyone else having a virus alarm?

        Looks like a false positive! As of today, only 2 of 64 still found an infection.
        I trust HY enough to install it on a test machine now ;-)
