    • I’m recording my own music in Logic Pro X and hope to release a song or two during the next year. Just got new monitors, Kali IN5 and a new mixer with USB, Allen Heath Zedi10. Thank you for tips on free plugins!

My Goal is to produce/create one music piece on LogicPro X and release it on SoundCloud. I hope to get at least 20 listens, and one response!

Thanks to BedroomProducer Blog for all the great plugins and Tips!

I’m really excited to dive deeper into refining my mixing abilities and mastering skulle as well to some extent.

I want to craft music that speaks to people, that stirs something inside them, and stays with them long after the song ends. It’s all about connecting through the power of music and creating experiences that resonate deeply.

Big thanks from Sweden for running this truly important website/blog!

  1. I would finally like to dust off those old songs that I started decades ago and never finished and learn the power of brave commiting in the studio. If I do that I will hopefully have a positive message to give to the world through my music. It truly is a wonderful time to be alive with all the tools we have access to. Thank you to the sponsors and what an amazing blog!!!

  2. My music production goal for 2024 is finally finishing and releasing my band’s next EP, in addition to another project I’ve been working on as a producer for a local band. Overall, I want to be constantly recording and mixing new songs and projects next year.

    • Oxtavio Villanueva

My goal is to start plaerforming in public. I’ve been a bedroom musician but would like to start playing infront of an audience.

    • My 2024 music production goal is to drastically improve my music mixing skills with some tutorials and lots of practice. I’ve been mixing dialogue for so long that this seems like a worthwhile extension of my skillset.

  3. My goal for 2024 is to continue learning and soaking up the knowledge of all the little details and techniques that make standout music

    • My goal for 2024 is to release my music and show myself to the world. After all these years practicing to be able to translate the sounds and melodies I have had in my head for as long as I can remember, I finally feel really and able.
I have however already started. Released my first song called RUN on November 13. The first of many to come.

      Life is good.
      Good luck everyone!

  4. KucingLiar.music

My music production goal for 2024 is to be able to provide my family with my music. If not yet fully, the road is there.

  5. “What is your music production goal for 2024?”
The same goal ive had for decades…. To enjoy making music… And so far , it’s worked….Nothing makes me happier than doing so.

  6. There will be 2 Projekts. The first one is a multi-channel installation, that should be able to work also on 3D. The other thing is about Sound-Art with strange and uncommon instruments in combination with live processing with the help of Ableton Live.

  7. The same goal ive had for decades…. To enjoy making music… And so far , it’s worked….Nothing makes me happier than doing so.

  8. C. James Brown / orphyte

My music production goal for this coming year is to make more time for creating, harness more intention and direction, and hone/improve my overall skills with producing, manipulating, bending, mixing, etc.

  9. My music production goal for 2024 is to stop procrastinating and get my first track out. So, too many this might be minor, but to me this would be an achievement.

  10. In 2024 I would like to release the acoustic version of a 2023 release, which will be a challence, since the 2023 release was very full and wide and I want to transport the characteristics to the rather sparsely populated acoustic version. Using the right tools correctly will be an issue here.

  11. Poder terminar las grabaciones, mezclar y masterizar el propio disco de mi banda y poder seguir creciendo como productor y grabar a muchos más artistas

  12. My goal is to get enough money for and start an education as Producer/Mixing and Mastering Engineer at m*******g.com (don’t want to “advertise” here without a given permission) before getting to a 15 year anniversary as a hobbyist producer next August, to finally be able to go professional. Ideally – to also already have released some of the already “pretty much done” stuff through an online distributor of my choice before that anniversary.

  13. Elevate vibes, spread love and make bass go boom boom! Find new ways to make sounds and create socially conscious themed music to add to my release catalog

  14. My goal is to finish at least two songs. It’s a small number, but I always regretted making silly mistakes in my productions, so from now on, I will focus more on quality.

  15. Edgar Figueroa

    on

My goal is to finish my progressive solo project that I have being working on for some time, because of the lack of experience and knowledge on production.

  16. My music production goal for 2024 is to actually take the time to play around with the dozens of VST and Audio plugins I have laying around. While they have been used for my video editing endeavors to great effect, from filters to voice changers, I do want to dip my toes into legit music production.

Especially when many of the music charity bundles I purchased over the months also came with so many different loops and samples to play with. It also won’t be long before I purchase my 2nd music creation software, so there’s no better time to start than now. And it seems I have the biggest head start I could ask for.

  17. inspiration never dies, I keep on pushing it, AI doesn’t make music, Human talent is still needed to bring music to life, 2024 hope to hit it

  18. I wish to eventually keep making more music and finish an album by next year, since I’ve only been making individual songs for the time being and really to branch out with conceptualizing an album.

Also find more useful techniques to produce more interesting sounds, glitches, and basses, as I have even more things I can explore.

  19. After years of producing music without ever getting to the point to be totally happy with the results and genre im working on, in 2024 I will step out to th world with my music and release a few EPs

  20. My goals are to finally take the leap from sharing with my friends and on Soundcloud to putting my music on Spotify. I want to reach out and help others by producing their stuff if they need it. Most of all my goal is to keep learning and keep getting better by experimenting more and never just sticking to what I know. Try news things, they often sound awesome!

  21. 2024 will be a great year of Production for me, due to financial difficulties man was not able to get new tools to support DAW stock plugins, every day I always come here to keep my hope alive and Bedroom Producer Blog helped me a lot to keep my hope alive in Music production, looking at beautiful tools on the web but no cash to purchase, but I was able to step ahead with all the free stuff I got from here, a stepping stone, today I can Produce, 2024 will be a great year the world is waiting for, they will hear me, that’s my dream, Thank you,

  22. To make music as much as possible. Feeling free and appreciate that I made choice in the second half of life to return to music and never leave her again.

  23. I plan to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with producing new and exciting music for audiovisuals, in different genres, to expand my skillset and appeal to a wider audience.

  24. My music production goal for 2024 is to make my music more coherent by building up my knowledge and experience. There is a minefield of information out there and much of it is conflicting, so I would love to establish routines for different types of music.

  25. After having nearly produced more or less 30 songs/tracks/sounds during these last 3 years, my goal is to finish and “professionnaly” produce at least one in 2024 ! After a serious discussion with a good friend of mine who is professionnal in music making… he told me that there was a huge potential and he would help me in mastering… so… crossing fingers ;-)

Anyway, thanks for your great help during these years !

  26. Derick Stewart

My Music production goal for 2024 is to become a better arranger of my beats so they can sound professional. But mixing and mastering my music better is also a goal of mine to. Well BPD you know it’s hard making music and finding your sound is difficult for beginners but with studying music theory and a lot practice you can do it well. I’m working on music craft every day and getting a chance to enter and maybe win your giveaway can really help me achieve these goals . Thank You and have a great day.

  27. Finish great old tracks, make new ones (maybe out of the comfort zone), get done songs with my vocalist. Make music videos and promote my music.

There are already 2.6k comments, and many-many-many more to come. It’s almost impossible to win.
    Cheers anyway.

    Let all your goals happen!

  28. My goal for 2024 is to flesh out my live set and get my studio into 1press-recording-mode again….
and take more time for my own music

  29. My music production goal for 2024 is to establish short and medium-term goals, continue studying what I am most passionate about, which is music, and generate more projects to transmit my feelings through it.

  30. Release an EP or single in 2024 is my main goal. Guitar is my main gear, so a better skill with Piano is nice. Want to have the latest groove box, to build more solid live setup. Learn new approach for sound design is always fun.

  31. Dear Tomislav,
Thank you for making this giveaway in such a divers way possible!! My goal for 2024 is to develop my voice further, and start digging in electronic compositions using my voice to develop a new style…

  32. My goal is to continue to develope my mixing skills and release at least two new songs next year. But with full time job and family life with small kids, that’s easier said than done. 😄

  33. My goal for 2024 is to release a track on a famous label , release it on vinyl too and to be played by DJs and see the crowd enjoying it . It s a dream and a goal !

  34. After 2 years of almost constant practicing mixing, and getting familiar with my daw (Ableton). I am now at a point where my goal is to create an EDM album inspired by old PS1 soundtracks, a mashup of DnB, House, Ambient, Jungle etc. The goal is to also make it sound as close to possible to the Playstation 1 DAC, using IR from old CRT TV’s as well as bitcrushers/downsampling.

  35. Dear Tomislav,
As I am blind, and love to make electronic music, my goal remains in 2024: look for VST software that is accessible for blind musicians. Some years ago there was this thread on KVR: https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=472722 so maybe next year.. Meanwhile, while Kontakt does help me, my family helps me out using those fabulous VST’s of which of course i hope to win one…

  36. My music production goal for 2024 is to finish and release my album. I am working on my own project “Sileonce” not only as a producer.
I will be writing, recording and mixing new songs in 2024, following the album singles “Hold You” and “Silent Soul”.

  37. To get started with my >in future touring< Covers band, and especially setting up our garage studio, so we can share our music with the world.

  38. My goals are to find new sonic spaces I haven’t been before, and to keep the focus on music creation instead of the endless pursuit of plugins and music toys.

    • My goal for 2024 is to release my music for the first time. I finally got all the tools thanks to bedroom producers and friends. It would be nice to work full time in music production but right now it’s not my priority.

      • My main goal in 2024 is to open up a vortex / wormhole of love and peace in order to align the planetary vibration for the acsension of a good quantity of human souls, primarily by producing a soundscape using FREE VST plugins and totally amateur DAW knowledge.

My production goal for 2024 is to finalize some of the many projects I never found the time nor had the proper equipment to give the love they needed. And to collaborate more with friends of old and those I’ve yet to meet!

I own a company, which is helping other companies to reach a new level in their business life – 3D world. We have developed two years now our service portfolio and year 2024 will be that when we really can implement everything. We are still very small, but we know what we are doing. Sounds and music are really big role in our solutions because immersive feelings are often based of those.

  42. In 2024 I’d really love to start publishing my music, make more of it, and maybe start a record company. Who knows what can happen next year! All I know is it’s gonna be awesome!

  43. Sample some exotic ✋ percussion that a friend collects and use them in a 📀 of recreated antique seafaring songs.

  44. My goal is to release a 12-track concept album based on my personal musical journey using demo tracks and ideas I have collected over the last six years.

  45. My goal for the next year is to finish an album. I have so many projects that are between sketches and demos, and not a single finished track to show for it. So I want to start treating music like work again. But still enjoying it. I don’t know, it’d just be nice to play something without having to say “now, the mix isn’t right, and kick is too quiet and I need to fix a few mistakes, but have a listen to this…”

  46. I am going to finish my best tracks and send them off to record labels to try and get my first signed release. At some point, I will have to stop chasing perfection and get my music out there!

  47. Practice and practice and get sign by a big label, so I can prove to my parent that I Am not wasting my time all this years.

  48. I will finishand put out my music (Songs) accompanied by my all original music videos

Wild artsy 3d visuals and hand drawn elements

  49. My music production goal for 2024 is to release a 5-6 track EP. I have the songs already written and mapped out, and need to finish off the arrangement and sound design, then a round of creative editing, before mixing and getting it mastered.

  50. My goal is to release the album I’m finishing to master. Then I would like to release songs more often as singles or EP. In the next productions I could use more pedal effects for the guitar parts together with plugins, either with a reamp-box or directly recording through the pedals, to have a different approach.

  51. To advance on both my club music career by releasing some crazy ass tracks and to also make some really wild avantpop music that has not been heard in my country (Romania).

  52. This year I’ve released 2 songs, so next year’s goal is to release 3 songs, and to continue improving the quality of my mixes.

  53. Production is hard, even more when time and creativity are lacking. To many kids, fulltime job. But………..never give up. So for next year the goal be to have a release out. Any new creative tool/vst will contribute to this.

  54. My goal for 2024 is to experiment with recording the choir that I sing in, chop it up into a million samples and create something new from our voices. Thank you!

  55. My goal is to be more efficient – less time in option paralysis, more focus on using the tools that work so I can stay out of my own way.

  56. My goal is to learn to play the piano/keyboard. That is much more enjoyable than inputting notes in a piano roll. It will also help is fleshing out ideas quicker.

  57. My goal is to go part time or full time into production and also release some of my own singles as an artist. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

  58. I’d like to be able to work on and finish some tunes again. I’ve been in an extreme creative lull since the early months of 2023, and haven’t felt confident or enthusiastic enough to get the drive to finish anything outside of an 8 bar loop since then.

So, being honest, I’d be happy just to be excited about creating again

  59. My (music related) goal is to release my first commercial tracks in next months.

My (personal) goal is to be better person that I am today and help more people in future…

    Peace and freedom for all…

    y.

  60. Ernesto Du Solier

My goal is to rerecord and remix an album I made 20 years ago but with upgraded sounds and better instruments.

  61. Gabriel Monticello

    on

I have several goals for next year. I recently reunited with my 1st band and we are making an album together. It’s Psychedelic (sometimes psychotic) Rock. I am also going through all of my old cassette 4 track recordings (tascam portastudio 424 and vestax vestafire) , transferring then to digital and then will clean up and eq as much as possible. Lastly, I am recording bass parts for several bands including two based in the UK. I am based in the USA amd we collaborate via file sharing online.

  62. I would like to get back to it after a long time away. I have the itch again and finally have time to devote to being more than the 16 Bar King.

Jajaja.

  65. My goal for 2024 is to re-record some old songs in a more cohesive form. The mixes so far sound very different and are still more like demo recordings. Some have more bass, some have more synthesizer sounds. Some sound like mono recordings, some have too much reverb, others sound too dry.

  66. Next year goal would be to pickup the draft beats I made so far, turn those into full tracks and after selection get a solid 30 minute EP of lofiBeats to release to YouTube.

  67. My goal for 2024 is to get better with my new analog synths and integrate live performances with my DAW, guitars, and pedalboard.

  68. My goal for 2024 is to finish and a release an EP with my friend Boris Kovac. The conept behind the 5 songs is the rapid pace of change we have seen in the last 100 years and while we embark on a new era, we cannot forget the lessons and sensibilities of the past.

  69. For the year 2024 my goal is to collaborate with more producers and artist, but first i want to better my production skills, music theory being my top priority. And if all goes well I’m aiming for a collab project with an artist fulling produced by me.

  70. Because of a bootkit infection, I recently had to take my system down to bare metal. Now I have to completely re-install and re-configure every piece of software I use to produce music, before I’ll be able to accomplish anything meaningfull.

So I’ll be happy to get one, new song recorded, mixed, and mastered in 2024.

Have I mentioned I work very, VERY slowly … ?

  74. Hello BPB. I’m a Producer/Singer. My goal for 2024 is to release an EP I lost due to my hard disk crashing in April last year. It happened after I relocated to a new country in Asia where I don’t speak the language. It took me almost a year to finally land a job and start saving towards recovering my harddrive, which has my works for over the past decade. I am finally going to recover my files this December, have my 5 track EP ready by January 21 and release it March 1st.

    on

We wish to finish this EP we’ve been working on. We just ended up with unfinished projects piled one over another. If we become one of the lucky BPB readers, the plug-ins will definitely help us in our work and hopefully help us complete the EP by 2024.

Good luck to everyone who participated, and Happy Thanksgiving!

  76. I would like to finish an album that I like, at least. Getting there, too, so we’ll see.

Thanks for doing this; it’s a bit of fun during a slightly chaotic time of year haha

  77. Production goal in 2024 is the same as it’s been the last 2 decades…finish a thing dammit!!!
