Soundtoys Effect Rack Is FREE For A Limited Time Only (EXPIRED)

Soundtoys is inviting everyone to use the full version of the Effect Rack ($299 value) multi-effect plugin completely free of charge for a limited time only. UPDATE: The free download offer has expired.

Effect Rack is a multi-effect plugin that comes with a collection of fourteen different effects powered by Soundtoys. The plugin includes the EchoBoy and PrimalTap delays, the Radiator saturation effect, the FilterFreak modulator, and more. The included effects can only be used within the Effect Rack plugin (you can’t load them as separate instances in your DAW of choice). However, you are free to load an unlimited number of Effect Rack instances in a single project.

Soundtoys claim that the Effect Rack is their most powerful plugin. It’s easy to understand why – you get fourteen effects in a single plugin that acts as an intuitive environment for building custom FX chains. Your virtual effect racks can be saved as presets for later use. With some time, you can create a bank of powerful multi-effect setups for mastering, analog saturation, modulation, and more. Here’s a message from Soundtoys:

We’re staying home to protect our community and our team. We sincerely hope you are too. To help you make your home studio a happier one, we’re letting you use Soundtoys Effect Rack FREE through June 30. It’s usually only available in the Soundtoys 5 bundle—but for this lockdown, we’re letting Effect Rack out.

Effect Rack is normally only available as part of the Soundtoys 5 bundle, but Soundtoys is letting everyone use it completely free of charge for a limited time. The software is available in VST, AU, and AAX plugin formats. Please note that only 64-bit plugin hosts are supported.

To claim your free copy of the Effect Rack, visit the product page and click the “Get Effect Rack” button. A valid email address is required to receive the Effect Rack download link. You will receive your personal activation code in a confirmation email. You will also be subscribed to the Soundtoys newsletter. When launching the Effect Rack for the first time, click the “Activate” button and enter the activation code.

UPDATE: You can get the Soundtoys Effect Rack for $99 until May 3oth, 2020 (and keep it forever). Use the coupon code 100-OFF-RACK-OR-BUNDLE-ENDS-MAY30 at checkout to get the discount. Our readers are reporting that the code isn’t working. I’ll check if there’s a new discount code that should be used instead.

    • I don’t think so. I hate this age of streaming. Everyone wants to stream nowadays. Wouldn’t doubt it if this works like a subscription.

Nope, free to use until the end of June. EDIT: I mean, at least that’s how I understood the info on the Soundtoys website.

If this question was for me, here’s my answer. The page on the Soundtoys website says “We’re letting you use Soundtoys Effect Rack FREE through June 30.” Also, “Please give us a minute to plan for Effect Rack after June 30. We’ll get back to you with a great deal and everything you need to know!” So, it’s free to use until June 30th – after that, it looks like they will offer a deal who want to purchase the plugin.

  1. The 100$ Off code does not work until now, the amount is changed briefly in the cart, but when the final order should be played the amount is back to normal with a comment, that the code is currently not available.

That sucks, it worked for me yesterday. I’ll remove it from the article and try to figure out what’s up with that deal. Stay tuned and sorry for the inconvenience.
