D16’s popular Repeater (€89 value) delay plugin is now free with a subscription to Loopcloud until January 7.

The Repeater Vintage Modelled Delay features 23 delay models ranging from “classic oil cans and plates to the most famous vintage digital designs.”

The plugin normally costs €89 and is available for Windows and Mac.

Loopcloud is a sound library with millions of royalty-free samples available.

The cheapest Loopcloud plan is currently Artist, which is $1 a month for the first two months, which is reduced from the regular price of $8.

The $1 for the first two months special is part of the same deal that features the free Repeater delay.

Loopcloud also offers Studio and Professional plans, which are $12 and $22 a month, respectively.

If you want to get a peek into the features of Loopcloud, you can also try its 14-day free trial.

The Repeater came out of a collaboration between D16 and Slate Digital.

You can hear it in action via the embedded sound samples on the product page linked above.

The plugin is designed to cover all your delay needs in one package, with D16 explaining that “Whether you want a bold echo, a subtle wide space or a classic tape slapback, Repeater Delay has you covered.”

The samples show that there is undoubtedly a lot of sonic territory covered and some amazing sounds on tap.

Repeater features the following delay modes: Cassette Tape, Coopy Cube, Digital 42, Digital 42 x 2, Digital Delay, DM-2, Mellow Delay, Memory Guy, Mirky Delay, New Radio, Old Radio, Pitchy Delays, Plexy Echo, Space Delay, Tape Delay Ancient, Tape Delay Classic, Tape Delay Modern, Tape Delay Vintage, Telephone 1, Telephone 2 and TelRay.

The plugin features two separate delay lines for the left and right channels, with individual controls for each.

Both channels also feature a phase invert feature, an audio clipper module with color parameters, a dual (Hi-Pass, Lo-Pass) filter, dry/wet mixing, and channel re-panning.

The developers have also included the Tap function for non-synchronized delay times, Optional Tempo Synchronization with DAWs, Ping-Pong mode, Feedback loops analog mode, Two stage Stereo spread, Ultra-low digital aliasing output, Tag-based preset browser, MIDI-learn functionality, and 64-bit internal processing.

Repeater runs on Windows 7, 8, and 10, as well as OS X 10.9, and macOS 13, with Big Sur and Monterey compatibility.

Both Windows and Mac versions are available for 32 and 64-bit.
